Most great podcasts die in the edit.
Brilliant conversations are reduced to lifeless, cookie-cutter clips. Creators with something to say are buried under the noise. We’re building a product to change that.
Introducing Thursday Clips. It’s how creators scale their voice without losing their taste.
Here’s a thread on what’s gone wrong with the world of podcast editing, and why craftsmanship still matters:
I’ve spent the last few years building Thursday Labs, a studio that’s produced over 50 podcasts for some of the most interesting founders, investors, and creative leaders in tech. It’s been a dream.
As you can imagine, I’ve seen it all when it comes to podcasting. Heard thousands of pitches and had countless coffees with podcasters outside of our portfolio who are struggling with their show.
And there’s one thing that continuously breaks my heart: after launch, so many great shows disappear into the algorithmic abyss. It’s not because the ideas weren’t good or because they’re not good hosts. It’s because their representation wasn’t.
Over the last few years, the podcast-editing market has become chaos. AI editors promise 100 clips for $499 and offshore agencies churn out low-effort content by the truckload. So essentially, your face gets cut mid-sentence, the captions don’t match your tone, and somehow… the soul is gone. It’s fast, it’s cheap, and it’s everywhere. But it’s not you.
Thursday Clips was born to fix this.
No, we’re not another “content machine.” We’re editors. Real ones. People who care about taste, tone, timing, and truth. We couldn't care less about making clips that fill your calendar, but we are relentless about making clips that build trust.
You’ve done the hard part by showing up to record. Now it’s about representation. We take your long-form conversations and sculpt them into stories that travel and moments that feel human, look expensive, and sound unmistakably like you.
Absolutely no AI slop, no chaos, and no missed deadlines. Just the kind of precision that makes people stop scrolling.
Thursday Clips exists for creators who give a damn. It’s for people who care about their reputation as much as their reach, and for anyone who’s tired of being lost in a sea of sameness.
We still believe quality compounds, and that consistency builds credibility. But most importantly, that real, thoughtful, human editing is still the difference between “just another clip” and a brand people trust.
